Sweep the floor to remove loose dirt crumbs and other debris. If there is other clutter like papers toys or containers move those out of the way too.

Move any furniture that is on the terrazzo floor out of the way so you have no obstacles to clean around. If your mopped floor dries with a film mop it again with water containing a cup of white vinegar and the floor will glisten. Deep clean your terrazzo floors twice a year. Deep clean your terrazzo tile floor with natural stone cleaner or commercial terrazzo cleaner to prevent etching from alkaline or acidic cleaners.

Clear everything off of the terrazzo. Before cleaning a terrazzo floor make sure it is has been commercially sealed. A dry mop can also be useful if the floor is dusty. Simply mix the stripper and apply it to the floor using a flat mop.
