A candle flame only puts out so much heat and it s small compared to even a modest electric space heater. With an engineering background it s hard to see how the math can work out on a project like this. Especially seeing as this may be something you do during a power cut when light might be an issue. A couple of flower pots and candles can easily be transformed into a heating source.
